    BACKPACK SELECTION

Tactical backpacks: compare capacity, compartments and carry

PANOAR’s tactical backpacks include compact everyday-carry layouts, assault-pack formats and models with modular external attachment areas. Use the product listings to compare the pack structure you need: a compact main compartment, a larger multi-pocket body or a platform for detachable accessories.

    Compact EDC formats

Review the depth of the main compartment, access to smaller pockets and the overall profile. Check listed dimensions against the items the pack must hold.

    Larger assault-pack formats

Compare multi-compartment organization, side storage and compression straps. A larger capacity should be assessed with the complete pack layout.

    Modular MOLLE formats

Look at the locations available for added pouches and the straps supplied with them. Plan the accessory arrangement without covering openings or adjustment points.

    01 / FABRIC & BACK PANEL

    Look beyond the outer fabric

Compare the outer surface, lining and back-panel construction on the selected backpack. Mesh padding, woven fabric and webbing serve different parts of the pack; a fabric name alone does not describe the complete carry system.

For your shortlist: Record the fabric specification, lining and padding for each shortlisted model.

    02 / WEBBING & CONNECTIONS

Check how straps and accessories connect

Review compression straps, buckle access and the position of external mounting areas. For a MOLLE backpack, check the accessory arrangement against pocket openings and strap adjustment points. Confirm the components supplied with the exact model.

For your shortlist: Record attachment locations, strap routing and the accessories you intend to add.

    03 / ZIPPERS & POCKET ACCESS

Compare the opening, not just the pocket count

Look at the zipper path, opening width and access to the main and smaller compartments. Compare the pack’s listed dimensions with the items it needs to hold, then review those items in the selected sample. Similar capacity labels can conceal different usable layouts.

For your shortlist: Record required compartments, opening direction and the dimensions of key items.

What to record for a backpack shortlist

List the model, target dimensions or capacity range, required compartments, accessory references and preferred color. Note whether the existing model is acceptable or whether the structure needs development. For material comparisons and a more detailed development brief, use the linked guides instead of relying on a generic fabric name.

Detail photographs illustrate selection points. Confirm the material specification and supplied components for each chosen product.

    Questions about this collection

Does a capacity label tell me which items fit?

Not completely. Compare the listed dimensions and the shape of the compartments, then review the selected sample with the intended items. Two packs with similar nominal volumes can organize them differently.

Do all MOLLE backpacks include accessory pouches?

No. Confirm the included components for the exact listing. External mounting areas and separately shown accessories do not automatically mean that every accessory is supplied.
