PRODUCT SELECTION
MOLLE water bottle pouches sized around the bottle
A MOLLE water bottle pouch should be compared with the bottle’s diameter, height and cap shape. Stated volume alone does not establish fit: two bottles holding the same amount of water can have different bodies, necks and carrying loops. Review the opening and closure as well as the pouch’s overall dimensions.
Drawstring and covered bodies
Review the opening diameter, body depth and closure position around the bottle neck. Check any separate side pocket against the items it should hold.
Adjustable open-frame carriers
Compare buckle routing and adjustment against the bottle’s widest point. Check how the chosen bottle sits within the supporting straps.
Crossbody bottle bags
These have a separate carry strap. Confirm strap adjustment, bottle retention and any small-item pocket rather than treating them as a rear-mounted pouch.
01 / BOTTLE & OPENING
Check the widest point and lid clearance
Compare body diameter, total height and the opening around the bottle neck. Include handles, large lids and other parts that need clearance. Separate small pockets should be checked against their own intended items rather than the main bottle dimensions.
For your shortlist: Provide bottle diameter, height and lid details.

02 / STRAPS & CONNECTIONS
Distinguish rear mounting from independent carry
Confirm whether the selected product attaches to another platform or includes its own carry strap. Adjustable open-frame designs need a separate review of strap routing and bottle retention. The quotation should identify the exact hardware and components supplied.
For your shortlist: Specify mounted or independent carry and included straps.

Share the bottle reference and carry location
For an inquiry, include a bottle photograph or drawing, body diameter, total height and the mounting or carry position. Identify whether the bottle has a handle, large lid or accessory that needs clearance. Confirm whether the carrier alone or an agreed set is required; an example photograph is not a statement that a bottle is supplied.
Questions about this collection
Is bottle capacity enough to choose a pouch?
No. Provide diameter and height, including the lid or handle. The bottle shape and pouch closure should be reviewed together.
Is a bottle pouch the same as a hydration-bladder pouch?
No. A rigid bottle and a flexible reservoir have different shapes and support needs. Use the specific product dimensions and do not assume they are interchangeable.
